I disagree with him occasionally, but it's not a huge deal. I figure it's his blog, it's his business. Some of the LL folks are the same way; the easiest way to avoid any altercations is just to not jump in head-first to anything at either site, so I try and limit my participation.

As for the march, it was good. A lot of very happy people, and I was happy to be there. I've known gay people pretty much my entire adult life (I'm 37 now), and I've spent some time in certain social circles and seen some things in my lifetime that would make most people's skin crawl - so gay is nothing. haha!

I like Dave Cameron's work at USSMariner (like him better at FanGraphs), but I've got to say that neither him nor DMZ is much tolerant of dissent, and that puts a damper in my enjoyment of his writing.

Nevertheless, I did vote for him, though I was tempted to vote for the girl with the blog about Medievalism ( I'm a sucker for that stuff. :-D). Hope he makes a big push in these last few days cause he's behind now by about 800 votes.

It was good to see so many people turn out across the country to demonstrate against discrimination. Hopefully, the next time there are such demonstrations it will be to celebrate the success of the legal challenge to Prop 8.
