I’ve been watching this game on FSN – remarkable for the “matchup” between Ichiro and Dice-K – and watching the 2007 Mariners brings back a few memories for me; this was the team I really started to love baseball with, and seeing all those guys playing cohesively, seeing Guillen again, it’s kinda cool. It seems like a really long time ago to me.  And of course the 2007 Red Sox were a good team, too. It was a one-hitter for Felix, I should probably mention, but the main focus for the press was Ichiro and Dice-K meeting up on the field when Dice-K was new for the Sox…
