I’m hoping to take more photos tomorrow, or at least photos of something different. Also planning on dressing a little more warmly – I think another pair of socks might have been a good idea.

Really enjoyed listening to Q & A sessions with Wak; Lowe, Aardsma, Johnson and Byrnes; and Valle, Buhner and Blowers. Bought some goodies at the team store, walked the bases, checked out the visitors dugout and the M’s clubhouse, then visited the baseball museum. Good stuff, but a lot to do in one day!

I think that Wak hadn’t actually met Byrnes in person since he had joined the team, but Byrnes was already participating in FanFest. Agree with your observation – it sounded like Byrnes is really excited to be here and wants to show what he can do for the team. Think Byrnes will be a good addition, and hope he stays healthy.

Keep up the great work on your blog! Will be interested in your impressions of day 2, since I can’t attend tomorrow.

I’d love your Figgy/Kotch/Hyphen photos – I’m going to TRY to get some tomorrow, but if the crowds are just as bad, I’m not sure I’ll be able to. We will likely have Jess’s wheelchair, though, which…uh…makes some things a little easier – not that I would ever take advantage of something like that.
