As of earlier today, we’ve added RyanGarko to the roster, and subtracted poor little Gaby Hernandez. I heard about it in the car, but have no idea what to think. Even after reading both the USS Mariner and Lookout Landing articles, I still have no idea what to think. We are now eyeball-deep in bats, so things could, indeed, be worse; though, like Jeff Sullivan says, if this means a loss of Ryan Langerhans, it will take a while to grow on me. I’ll reserve complaint until later (though honestly, I really hate even the concept of feeling in any way negatively towards this lovely, marvelous group of baseball players and their front office), and just say welcome to Seattle, Mr Garko.
I don’t know that I so much enjoy the idea of going with a smaller bullpen, but that’s just my discomfort with the closeness of some games last year. It seems there are a lot more injury issues to be watched out for now, because while everyone we have acquired up to this point came with great upside, there are also Erik Bedard-like warning stickers on pretty much all of them. I’d love to believe that everyone will stay healthy, but I know that it’s not a realistic way to think. Boo.
Anyway, since I have no concrete feelings on any of this one way or the other, here is a cool video that Scott Weber from ProBallNW.com found on another blog, and I like it enough to share it here:
Trader Jack gets a lot of options for different positions, and Wak figures out what works best in Spring training. Meanwhile, fans are wondering what will happen next. It is a great time to be an M’s fan, but keeping up with these guys is impossible!
Yep, it’s Keaton. Our cat hates the music, I think those tones hurt her ears. :/ I guess that’s the original Yankees stadium. Interesting piece of history.
It is a great time to be a Mariners fan. It will be really interesting to see what happens in ST. You don’t want to think that Griffey will lose his job, but that’s what they said could happen. The overload of position players is odd, but I have to think they have another plan.
Listening to @marcmaron 's interview with Bob Zmuda. EASILY one of the best interviews I've ever heard with anyone, anywhere. 8 hours ago
@andy_hurst You know it just occurred to me that I have yet to see any free samples. Twitter friends for like a year now, & no free samples! 8 hours ago

Cute movie – Buster Keaton I presume.
