I cannot really say much more than Conor did yesterday. I appreciate so very much each and every one of you who has read, re-Tweeted, or otherwise supported my little corner of the internet here over the 2010 season, everyone I’ve met this year who has helped to make terrible baseball a little more tolerable, and/or who have taught me something about the game and its inner workings. You’ve helped me and my learning process more than you will ever know, and for that I can never thank you enough. I appreciate you every day, but today is when this country has set aside specifically to acknowledge it, so here we are.
I am currently (after another terrible 6+ hour drive in the car fighting traffic and varying weather fronts) in my great home city of Portland, Oregon, home of the Trailblazers, Winterhawks, and soon, the MLS Timbers. Family is slowly arriving, my brother’s convection oven is slowly roasting a turkey while sounding vaguely like a jet airplane, and there will be some watching of the New Orleans Saints later today if I have anything to say about it. May you all enjoy the holiday with as much fortune as I.
Thank you so much for being my readers, don’t stuff yourselves too much, and for the love of all that’s holy, please don’t get hurt in any Black Friday stampedes! Happy Thanksgiving.
