Strong, MBA, CCRP Phone:404-778-2975 Email: bstrong@emory.edu Bridget is the Office for Clinical Research's Associate Executive Director of the Clinical Research Support Svcs (CRSS) team. She is responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and continuously improving clinical research programs related to FDA-regulated clinical trials and research billing compliance. Before joining Emory in 2006, Bridget was a lead clinical research coordinator for the University of Florida Health at Shands Hospital, leading various clinical trials involving interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, neuroradiology, women's imaging, and cardiac MRI/CT imaging. Previously, she was a research assistant with the University of South Alabama Institutional Review Board, managing clinical studies in biomedical and socio-behavioral sciences. Bridget is a Ph.D. candidate and holds an advanced doctoral certificate in Human Services and Public Health from Walden University and a Master of Business Administration from Florida Metropolitan University. She is a certified clinical research professional with the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA), a previous Atlanta SOCRA chapter president, and a current SOCRA Board Member. Bridget received the Champion of Learning award from the Association of Talent Development (ATD) and the Best of Atlanta for Education award from the Atlanta Business Recognition Organization. She currently serves as a member of the American Heart Association, Lupus Foundation of America – Georgia Chapter, National Black MBA Association, Urban League of Young Professionals, and WATTS (Women Aspiring Together to Succeed). Senior Research Services Consultant Karen Parker -Browning, MS CRA Phone: 404-712-7141 Email: karen.browning@emory.edu Karen is a Research Service Consultant under the Clinical Research Support Svcs (CRSS) team for the Office for Clinical Research (OCR). She is responsible for providing training and educational support to clinicians, researchers, and those coordinating research activities. She also performs quality assessment and improvement reports for all Office for Clinical Research OCR units. She also serves as a member of the Customer Service committee in the Office for Clinical Research for OCR, which identifies customer service workshops that will assist the department in supporting clients. Prior to her current role, Karen served as a senior clinical research finance manager, where she evaluated research protocols and developed and negotiated research study budgets with pharmaceutical companies and foundations. Karen holds a Master's in Research Administration from Walden University and a Bachelor in Biology from Clark Atlanta University. Karen has also been a research coordinator within the Department of Public Health, Cardiology, and Emory's Winship Cancer Institute. Before joining Emory in 1999, Karen was a research coordinator for Morehouse School of Medicine, where she coordinated hypertension & cardiovascular disease study protocols and managed blood chemistry data and subject recruitment. He is responsible for training and educating clinicians, coordinators, and support staff on research at Emory University. John has more than five years of experience in coordinating research with Cardiology and Endocrinology. He's also worked with Emory's School of Medicine and Atlanta Veteran Affairs. Additional experience includes working with multiple facilities (Grady Memorial Hospital, Wesley Woods Senior Living, Crestview Health & Rehabilitation Center, and Atlanta VA), which allows for a wider perspective on the local area. John earned his M.D. from Ross University School of Medicine and a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts: Biology and Philosophy from the University of St. Thomas. She previously worked as a Program Coordinator in the Emory School of Medicine Georgia CTSA Clinical Research Center (GCRC), where she created and led training, managed fiscal processes, supported process improvement initiatives, and managed many of the GCRC's programs for clinical research nurses, coordinators, and investigators. Kateisha also served as a liaison for the Emory Healthcare Nursing Administration Office with managing credentialing applications for our clinical research community and streamlining many processes for Emory and Emory Healthcare.Kateisha earned her Master of Business Administration degree with a Project Management Concentration from Louisiana State University Shreveport and a Bachelors in Sociology from the University of Florida. She is also a Certified Lean Practitioner and Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, as well as holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Before coming to Emory, she worked in the research department at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Since arriving at Emory in 2021, Delta has worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator II at the Winship Cancer Institute and a Clinical Research Coordinator III with the School of Medicine on the Digestive Disease Team. Delta’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from the University of Mississippi and a Master’s in Public Health with an Emphasis on Health Administration and Policy. She is currently enrolled at Central Michigan University, pursuing a doctorate in Health Administration.
