Many college students are moving in on Indiana campuses this week and in the coming weeks in preparation for the fall semester to start later this month. Traffic might be heavier in college towns/cities over the next few weeks.

Here's a roundup of where several Indiana colleges and universities are located and when classes begin.

Northern Indiana colleges

Anderson University

Anderson University is located at 1100 E. 5th St, Anderson, IN 46012.

Those heading to Anderson will likely take I-69.

The fall semester begins on Monday, Aug. 26, 2024.

Ball State University

Ball State University is located at 2000 W. University Ave, Muncie IN 47306.

To get to campus most travelers will take I-69.

Classes start Monday, Aug. 19, 2024.

Indiana Wesleyan University

Indiana Wesleyan University is located at 4201 S. Washington St, Marion, IN 46953.

Those heading to campus will likely take IN-37.

Classes begin on Thursday, Aug. 29, 2024.

Purdue University

Purdue University is located at 610 Purdue Mall, West Lafayette, IN 47907.

Most travelers will take I-65 to get to Purdue.

Saint Mary's College

Saint Mary's College is located at Le Mans Hall, St. Mary S. College, Notre Dame, IN 46556.

Most people will take US-31 to get to Saint Mary's.

Classes begin on Monday, Aug. 26, 2024.

Taylor University

Taylor University is located at 1846 S. Main St., Upland, IN 46989.

To get to Taylor, most travelers will take I-69.

Classes start on Aug. 26, 2024.

Trine University

Trine University is located at 1 University Ave., Angola, IN 46703.

Most travelers will take I-69 to Trine.

Classes will begin on Monday, Aug. 19, 2024.

University of Notre Dame

The University of Notre Dame is located at Holy Cross Drive, Notre Dame, IN 46556.

To get to Notre Dame, most travelers will take US-31.

The fall semester begins on Monday, Aug. 26, 2024.

Valparaiso University

Valparaiso University is located at 1700 Chapel Drive, Valparaiso, IN 46383.

Travelers heading to Valparaiso will most likely take I-65.

Classes start on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024.

Wabash College

Wabash College is located at 301 W. Wabash Ave., Crawfordsville, IN 47933.

Most travelers will take I-74 to get to campus.

The fall semester starts Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024.

Central Indiana colleges

Butler University

Butler University is located at 4600 Sunset Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46208.

To get to Butler, most travelers will take I-65.

Classes start on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2024.

DePauw University

Depauw University is located at 204 E. Seminary St., Greencastle, IN 46135.

To get to campus, most travelers will take I-70.

The fall semester begins on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024.

Earlham College

Earlham College is located at 801 W. National Road, Richmond, IN 47374.

Indiana University Indianapolis

Indiana University Indianapolis is located at 420 University Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46202.

Most travelers will take I-65 to get to campus.

Classes begin on Monday, Aug. 26, 2024.

Martin University

Travelers heading to Martin's campus will take I-465 or I-70.

Classes will begin on Monday, Aug. 12, 2024.

Purdue University Indianapolis

Purdue University in Indianapolis is located at 799 W. Michigan Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202.

Most travelers will take I-65 to get to Purdue's Indianapolis campus.

The fall semester begins on Monday, Aug. 19, 2024.

University of Indianapolis

The University of Indianapolis is located at 1400 E. Hanna Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46227.

Most travelers will take I-65 to get to UIndy's campus.

Southern Indiana colleges

Franklin College

Most people traveling to Franklin will take I-65.

Classes start on Monday, Aug. 26, 2024.

Hanover College

Most people going to Hanover will take I-65.

Indiana State University

Travelers heading to campus will likely take I-70.

Classes begin on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024.

Indiana University Bloomington

Indiana University Bloomington is located at 107 S. Indiana Ave., Bloomington, IN 47405.

Most travelers headed to campus will take I-69.

Rose-Hulman has a quarterly schedule as opposed to semesters like most Indiana colleges. Classes for quarter one begins on Sept. 2, 2024.

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods
